Reunited British thrashers Hydra Vein have been tracking their long-awaited third studio album at Ijland Studio in Amsterdam, which will be their first full-length record since 1989's After The Dream. It will include an all-new lineup (with bassist Damon Maddison and guitarist Danny Ranger as the only remaining original members) and the band stated in a recent post on Facebook they are hoping to have it released this October.

The aforementioned post on Facebook reads as follows: "Okay folks, time for an update! Over the last 2 weeks we've been at Ijland Studio starting the recordings for the 3rd album after 33 years of silence. Expected landing time is July 19th, with - hopefully - a release in October."
