PANTERA has added another European concert to its spring/summer 2023 touring schedule. The band will co-headline the Rockfest festival, set to take place June 8-10 in Hyvinkää, Finland.

Tribute or not, I don't think it should be done under the Pantera name. Phil and Rex can play the songs live all they want, but not under the Pantera name. Just my opinion.

I would not be surprised if it was some label hot shot that convinced the two musicians of Pantera to do this reunion because of, obviously, money, and nostalgia making money...

Earlier today (December 11th), Pantera performed at Knotfest Chile in Santiago without OG bassist Rex Brown. Cattle Decapitation's Derek Engemann — who also notably plays with Pantera frontman Philip Anselmo in both the singer's solo band, the Illegals, and his black-metal side project Scour — filled in for most of the set. Bobby Landgraf (Honky, ex-Down) jumped in for the last song, "Cowboys From Hell," as can be seen above.

PANTERA's appearances at two rock festivals in Germany this spring have been canceled following an outcry over singer Philip Anselmo's previous racist remarks.

The band PANTERA will not perform at Rock Im Park and Rock Am Ring 2023 as announced," said the Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park organizers on Monday evening (January 23) on Twitter in identical statements.
