Great to see some Kypck love around here, the debut is fantastic but they have no bad albums. I think their latest one Zero was very good too!

My "blackened synth metal" solo project: maladomini.bandcamp.com.

Whenever I write something funny, weird, or pretentious... I learned English by playing Baldur's Gate, okay?

Still gotta listen to Zero. I keep coming back to Cherno. I just can't get enough of it. I'm hesitant in admiting it, but it's becoming like the perfect metal album for me

It's definitely one of my favourite albums too! Every song is unique yet fantastic. I'm particularly fond of Rozhdestvo, Chernaya Dyra and Odin Den but they're all excellent. Ville Lopakka's lines echo his previous work in Sentenced which was one of the first bands I fell in love with way back, and the cold, claustrophobic mood just gets better by the Russian lyrics...

Rozhdestvo (Christmas), Chernaya Dyra (Black Hole), 1917, and Stalingrad are my favorites.
(I've internalized the translated English titles, since I don't know any Russian - but I'm basically started to learn Russian via Kypck ) But I really love every song. Odin Den (One Day) is so catchy and Ne Prosti (Do Not Forgive) is so mournful and beautiful, for example.
I need to check out Sentenced...

I relistened to Cherno just now and it's as timeless as ever. For Sentenced you'll want to start with The Cold White Light

By the way, I'm researching and finding a Ville Laihiala as the vocalist for Sentenced, but not Kypck. And a guitarist Sami Lopakka, who played for Sentenced and Kypck. But no Ville Lopakka

My bad, that's supposed to be Sami Lopakka of course. I was referring to the guitarist. The dude with the Kalashnikov
