Mental Cruelty, a German deathcore ensemble, announce the release of their fourth studio record. Entitled Zwielicht, it will land in stores on June 23rd, 2023 through Century Media Records. Josh Schroeder took over the production, mixing and mastering of this 10-piece music effort. To taste a first piece of the new material, check out the "Forgotten Kings" single with accompanying official video (directed by Daniel Fischer).

Nice cover. Doesn't really say Deathcore, but somehow it works for them I feel.

I think they took inspiration from another band...even down to the unnecessary breakdown

This is melodic/symphonic black with some deathcore elements. Was their last album like this?

I haven't listened to the single, I usually wait for the full albums to come out. But that description sounds pretty accurate from what I remember from their previous album, which is the only one I listened to
