Iron Butterfly - Doug Ingle Dies
Sad news is coming from the Iron Butterfly camp. The band reported that their founding member, organist, main composer and lead vocalist Doug Ingle has passed away at the age of 78.
His son, Doug Ingle Jr commented: "It's with a heavy heart & great sadness to announce the passing of my Father Doug Ingle. Dad passed away peacefully this evening in the presence of family. Thank You Dad for being a father, teacher and friend. Cherished loving memories I will carry the rest of my days moving forward in this journey of life. Love you Dad. "

Saddest thing about it is that I didn't even know he was still alive. Should probably relisten to whatever they made other than the rock and or roll one.
