01. Degree Of Punishment
02. Jekyll And Hyde
03. Under Control

Trash Metallers Entente hail from Germany and they offer us a very special kind of Trash Metal in this Mini Cd.
While many Trash Metal bands try to sound mature and technical, Entente just tries to sound fun, I mean, while you're listening this Mcd, you can sense in all aspects of the music that these guys are having fun while playing this, and if they're having fun, your having fun too.

Only 3 songs on this one, thing starts with the title track "Degree Of Punishment" the simplistic riffs employed in this song reminds me of those 80's Trash Metal bands, when the genre was just developing in one of the most popular ones in that decade.
The thing that made this fun is the vocals of Peter, he adds that "funny" touch in every song, like Anthrax in their "Mr. Not" phase.
"Jekyll And Hyde" is the longest song in the Ep, and is my favorite too, the band uses walls of backing vocals, and every member does backing vocals (well, except Andy, according to the booklet he does Drums and? nothing else!).
Last song, "Under Control" reminded me a lot of Death Angel in their "Frolic Through The Park" era.

Entente shows us an important lesson in Metal: have fun! Music is supposed to be fun to carry the listener away, some people try too much to sound to professional or technical, and they forget the essence of any kind of music.

Entente doesn't bring anything new to the genre, is not a groundbreaking release, and they won't change your life in any sense, but damn is fun to hear those 3 songs!
