Maniaca is really underground even in their own country, weird fact indeed, their music is good enough to be circulating metal stations or the internet, they have released several albums throughout the years, I've managed to hear Necropolis, which is an amazing Full Length (review available in this site), and now the band sent me their last EP called King's Sight, let's take a closer look to this one.

This EP has stronger sound; it's actually less varied than the "Necropolis" album, "King's Sight" is not a hybrid, this is straight as an arrow, the music is a violent punch in the head, almost 20 minutes of tight and catchy music (You should hear the main line in "Resurrection", catchy as hell), the structures are balanced and uniform, this time we can hear the music going in a direct line, this is very good musically speaking, this way the music evolves in the same pattern.

This EP has the exact amount of minutes, you won't get bored and you won't be asking for more; the production is a little muddy, not as clear as in "Necropolis", the volumes are screwed up in some bits and there are some flaws in the mastering (cybals going louder than the drums, fuzzy guitar distortions etc.).

I'll keep this review like the album, precise and short; my recommendation is the following, search the web for this band and get as much material as you can, you won't regret I promise.
