Wow, am I listening to an unreleased Pantera album or what? Ho no, I'm wrong, this is just the first album of Infernoise, a Spanish combo but damn if you want to listen to a band who is not afraid to copy someone else, I just think that we have a winner here? "The Chainsaw's Law" is not particularly bad but this is maybe a bit too much similar to the legendary American band to be really convincing however that's up to you to decide if you can stand such kind of copy or just call it plagiary?

You'll not need more than twenty seconds to understand that Infernoise is all but original. The riffs are groovy and thrashy like the ones of Pantera and the voice of Rown Houland is like the one of Phil Anselmo, this is crazy really. On a side I cannot say that Infernoise is bad because in the genre they play good music and the songs all in all are not so bad but the big similarity with Pantera is a bit too much for me. Here, the originality is near of the sub-zero and it's really sad because I doubt that a lot of people will like and "understand" the band. I mean if it only was the riffs or just the voice, but everything here sound like Pantera, this is just a clone?

For sure Infernoise is not composed of bad musicians. The guys have created good riffs, their music is groovy and they play it well. The singer has the same voice than who you know so it's hard to say that he is bad? The production of the album, which was recorded and mixed by Timo Tolkki himself is also really good and this is just the terrible cover which destroys a bit my overall impression about the CD. Though of course one more time, the problem don't come from the songs or the musicians but from the copycat syndrome. "The Chainsaw's Law" is just a first album, let's hope that the band will be able to add more personality in their future releases?

As you can understand now, we're not in front of the worst album ever done, at the opposite "The Chainsaw's Law" is even a good release but definitely this is just alike Pantera and some people (and I won't blame them) will just hate it. If you're looking for some Pantera music you can still try this release but if you cannot stand copycat, go away as soon as possible?

This sounds awful... I can't stand Pantera to begin with, someone ripping them off would be even worst.

Yeah, the cover alone would make me stay very far from this.
