Those three are great and totally worthy to be on this list.

But let me guess, you don't like doom?

I like early Black Sabbath albums.

I just prefer the originals, not their imitations

then you shouldn't be allowed to like 99% of all metal

even though all three have some sabbath in them all three are originals
Because it's not like they are Sabbath rip-offs they all have a clear distinct own sound, with Saint Vitus having a lot of punk it as well.

There is a difference between influence and imitation

Like I sdaid those three band did NOT imitate BS, were influenced by them, yes, imitate them NO. They have a clear signature sound of themselves. Orchid imitates them

Ace Frawley
The Spaceman
Good list but no room for Tears for Fears in that top twenty? '85 was a big year for them, I recall.

I included Yngwie's debut album in my 1984 list, but this one just didn't make the cut. I really like Accept, but that album just seemed lacking for me.

Never been a big Fates Warning fan. Honestly I'm just not a fan of Arch's voice (don't hate on this too much!) And, I don't own a copy of The Last Command. I have heard all the stuff on youtube, so maybe what I heard was kind of bad quality, because the production seemed really bad to me. Again, I don't actually own this album, so I'm not sure.

Saint Vitus having a lot of punk it as well.

Really caught me by surprise when I was first listening to them! The first couple tracks I heard by them were more classic doomy sounding, but then there are a ton of songs that are very punkish. I dig it
