Omne, I hear you ask, why does Gojira want us to save Wales so badly?

Pretty sad to see that an essential doom album (and band) like this gets just a bunch of votes while overhyped plastic-doom borefest like Draconian is getting hundreds of praises.

This album is bloody great, and significant as the band themselves were together for 14 years before it was even released. Interesting how Bobby Liebling has a varied vocal range, proving to be one of the highlights of the album.

These riffs, holy hell. Probably one of the best collection of tunes in the metal scene, why does it get so little attention?

I don't play the guitar, the guitar plays me.

No, honestly. The guitar is an arsehole

Because people don't even know the very existence of Pentagram unfortunately. This is a classic album that every doom fan should possess.

Filthy doom metal. Almost sounds like The Stooges in places.

I love this!
Definitely sounds like American Black Sabbath, but while the sound might not be very original, it's so damn good! The heavy riffs would make Iommi proud and the Ozzy-like singing is very catchy.

The only weak songs here for me are "Run My Course", "The Deist" and "You're Lost I'm Free". The rest is so great that it's hard to choose favorites!
"Relentless" and "Sign of the Wolf" are amazingly catchy ; "All Your Sins" and "Death Row" have the heaviest riffs in existence! ; "Dying World" has a fantastic solo backed by sweet bass playing ; "The Ghoul" and "Sinister" have evil lyrics ; and "20 Buck Spin" is so funky that the guitar sound reminded me of some of Pink Floyd's solos

Will be returning to this record often! Now this is how doom should sound like
