In early 2018, I started my long and perilous (and awesome) journey of discovering doom metal. This is my doom noob's room of gloom aka a list of those doom albums, that I've come to love during my explorations into the genre. Will add new albums regularly. *weeps in solitude*

I would add Solitude Aeturnus's Alone. It's their best record imo.

A Paradise Lost record, I'd go for Lost Paradise here.

It doesn't fit in with the ones here, but if you want some funeral doom you could add Esoteric - The Maniacal Vale

With death/doom there is Disembowelment

Impressive to say the least, added it to the list as you can see. At this moment, I'd say The Maniacal Vale was slightly better, but repeat listens might change that of course. Thanks a lot for the recommendation!
