Very special mention of the "Cleaning Out the Closet" compilation from 1999 which has got leftover songs from the '90s.
Also a must listen is the "Falling Into Infinity Demos".

That's an unexpectedly high placement for When Dream and Day Unite, and a crazy low one for Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence.

Yes, I know SDOIT is low, but I find the album tedious these days. I also kinda overplayed it when it came out. I have little to no desire to get back to it. I almost put it under ADTOE. But I still think SDOIT has better songwriting.
I love DT's debut, there's a great energy and enthusiasm in the performance. Also kudos to such young musicians (well, except Charlie who was much older than the rest of the guys) to create the music.
Moore era DT has always remained my favorite.

That's my favourite lineup as well. I'm thinking I should take a stab at a DT list of my own.

Respect for placing When Dream and Day Unite so high, personally I think it's their best, back when they put METAL before PROGRESSIVE.

Good list overall. It is surprising to see When Dream And Day Unite and Falling Into Infinity ranking so high on the list. I guess it's a personal preference ofc, but I much prefer A Change Of Seasons and Octavarium to those, for instance.
I do like their debut a lot, it has a very specific prog sound of the time.
Also, why don't you like Systematic Chaos?
And where would you rate the new album on this list? Just curious.

New album would go under their self-titled.
SC has always been a bit tidious for me. And it was the album where they stopped trying new things IMO.
Thanks for checking the list and commenting. And welcome back!

Moved Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence up a bit, it's still a solid album. just because I overplayed it and grew a bit tired of it, does not mean i should disregard it.
