Alcest - Kodama
I really like the evolution of the band's style. This album is really what Alcest manages to do best. From the intro music, we are captivated. The album has that something that the others lack, I felt more invested in it. [8.3] |

Alcest - Écailles De Lune
Often considered the best of the bunch, it is in any case much better than the first in my opinion. The album is more striking and more melodious, the instruments are on point and it is more unique, we feel that Alcest has really found where it wanted to go. [8.1] |

Alcest - Spiritual Instinct
In the same vein as Kodama, a little more melodic maybe. It's not at the level of my two favorites but it's still very good. [7.8] |

Alcest - Les Voyages De L'âme
The album which has the misfortune of being the one which follows Écailles De Lune, and it is much less memorable, however it remains correct. [7.5] |

Alcest - Souvenirs D'un Autre Monde
First album of the band that I listened to, I find the beginning quite haphazard, the style is already very close to what ALcest has been able to offer until now, an often melodious voice which blends with the particular atmosphere that the group manages to create. I'm a little more doubtful with this one, although it's the album that intrigued me enough to listen to the other albums, it's an enjoyable album but nothing more. [7.3] |

Alcest - Les Chants De L'Aurore
With Alcest I only really appreciate the style every other album, and I must admit that I'm not a big fan of this one. I can concede that objectively the album is good, but personally this album doesn't have what made me love Kodama, I have the impression that it's Alcest trying to make Alcest. Despite everything, it still remains appreciable. [7.1] |

Alcest - Shelter
The most disappointing album in their discography, although I recognize the band's captivating style, it does not captivate me. They took a musical direction that I don't like with this album, the atmosphere is different, less charming and the album is less impactful.
