The title says it all, I had a recent edge for thrash metal, I want to be punched and slapped musicwise. Although I found myself wandering a bit amongst most famous names ,which I don't necessary find appealing, despite many tries. I still have to visit some other bands, that I maybe neglected, but here are my favorite ones for now. I like the thrash fast, violent, textured, groovy, heavy, nasty... but it's also cool if it's not just the same basic riff for minutes long. Order from best best to least best

In terms of classics, try Megadeth if you haven't yet.
In terms of newer bands, try Hazzerd and Vektor.

I am actually quite surprised and delighted by some of the albums you've picked. I'm especially happy to see classics like None Shall Defy and Violent Restitution which are absolutely ferocious releases and some of my personal favourites. Also happily surprised with the presence of Besieged. This band is esentially unknown and was barely ever talked about since their first release despite being quite strong at what they do IMO. Not gonna lie it's always nice to see some love for the Canadian scene.

Not gonna give specific recs just gonna point out to my thrash list in my signature, you'll likely find something to enjoy in there.

Cool list mate!

Thank you thrashards!
I never clicked with Kreator, but should retry, now that I'm more accustomed to the genre.
I should give Megadeth another round, but part from Peace Sells and Rust In Peace, I don't really like them and don't get the thrash feelings. Same for Vektor, I like their music and it's definitely thrash, but I doesn't feel "thrash" to me, more like progressive...
I don't know Hazzerd, I should check.

Thanks, I'll check your list. Since I'm avidly looking through the new entries to the database, I could find out about Besieged. There's a couple of bands like that, amazing but completely avoided by everyone... Besieged is like oldschool Sepultura on steroids, it's so dense it's almost difficult to get through

This is the part of the post where I can chime in, just listen to "Riot of Violence" by Kreator and then "Set the World Afire" or "Hook in Mouth" from Megadeth, that should help you see the light so to speak. Also also, man, Violent Restitution...❤️Great choice, listening to that record feels like being the guy on the cover of Fistful Of Metal. Thank you for the reminder that I should be listening to it, always haha

Thank you for your comment and advice. Consequently I gave each album a try. I'm still unhappy about them

For Kreator, I find that the instruments are not really playing together, the beat is very blurry, creating a messy feeling. The riffs are nothing particular, the solos are pretty ugly and unremarkable, the vocals are sometimes great, sometimes cringe. It feels like the bastard son of Slayer and Venom. I understand the appeal of raw powerful violence in your face, but it's not really my thing. It lacks the fun and groove and feels closer to a death metal release in some way. While it's fast and aggressive, it's also repetitive and boring because of the dull riffs and brutish drums struggling to create a decent rhythm. Although, the sound is really nice and rubs the right spot, it feels real and raw in a good way, great texture. The growling bass is wonderful.

The song "Riot Of Violence" is indeed cool, built upon downstruck rather than tremolo, and that's how the cons I mentioned disappear and I can enjoy the rest.

For Megadeth, they really do nothing to me. This sound on this album is especially dull and lacks aggression. Songs are repetitive and uninteresting. Even the recommended songs didn't work. It's not bad, it's just... I don't care. There's a couple of Megadeth albums I need to check, since I never really digged them, but from where I stand, I only like Rust In Piece and Marty Friedman is a huge reason why.
