You know the drill. Here's some rather fine sounding Cthulhu driven death metal that's not due for release until 2013, with extraordinarily beautiful cover artwork (check out the detail in the full image):

In the name of forests; In the name of stars; In the name of all the seas; In the name of storms... Proud sons of ancient nation; Proud sons of sacred song in the wind; Proud sons behind a mirror of ice who told... Fathers of the icy age!!
Emyn Muil's Turin Turambar Dagnir Glaurunga is some great Summoning influenced atmospheric black metal
A new Summoning arose in Italy
now waiting for Caladan Brood and ofc Summoning themselves to answer to this call
---- The bones of beasts and the bones of kings
Become dust in the wake of the hymn
Mighty kingdoms rise, but they all will fall
No more than a breath on the wind
Well this is very nice. One-man Dutch blackened death / thrash metal. At times pretty blasting, at others quite melodic and slow. Pretty dynamic and interesting stuff and the production and song writing seems to be right up there, not to mention the vocals are quite varied.
DSBM, but like no DSBM I've ever heard. Very odd and intriguing sound. I really like this, and that's coming from someone who doesn't like DSBM.
Bandcamp
(Also has a dark ambient EP released this year too: Bandcamp)
Crazy, awesome spastic cybergrind with breakcore, gabber, jungle and who knows what else. It's very well produced too and quite atmospheric in places. Could totally see Igorrr or WHOURKR collabing with these guys.
Well I dl'd it off Bandcamp and I'm a little disappointed. That first track is awesome, plenty of grindyness in it but the other 6 tracks are dominated by the breakcore and gabber. If all the tracks were as evenly grind and break/gabber like that first track it would've been a definite MSA 2013 cyber/industrial nom. I still enjoy the album but would've ben much better with more grind on the other 6 tracks.

Fair enough. I like all the elements on the album as much as I do grind (well, even more so really) so I enjoy every song on it pretty much.

That is a nice proof that I can't judge an album by how shitty the artwork is.
This is nice shit.
