Can I throw out some more?

Jess and the Ancient Ones take the latter half of their name from HP Lovecraft as well

Persefone, taken from the Greek character in Homeric works

Caligula’s Horse get their name from a legend in Suetonius writings The Lives of Twelve Caesars

Marduk’s name comes from Enūma Eliš, the Babylonian creation text, as do Absu and Tiamat I believe.

Becoming the Archetype take their name from Genesis 1:26

Thank you very much for your interesting suggestions, Vellichor.
I have added Jess and the Ancient Ones, Caligula’s Horse and Becoming the Archetype to the list.

Currently, I am thinking about the other examples. They are interesting and not wrong, but I have to think about how to keep the list focused. Persefone may be not restricted to Homer`s work, because she is very present in Greek mythology in general. Marduk, Absu and Tiamat are also interesting suggestions with Enūma Eliš, the Babylonian creation text, as text reference. However, they might also be too important figures in their mythological context for just one text. Therefore, I hesitate to include them in the list for the same reasons I do not include the Satan from the Bible. As you have seen, I did include Becoming The Archetype, as this refers to a term from the Bible, which is more literature related and less mythology.
In case I start a (pagan) mythology list on MS, I will cite your suggestions.

Thank you again very much for your support, Vellichor.

Thank you so much for your support, JoHn Doe. The two mentioned bands are already in the list. I had not know them before and did not find the time to listen. However, based on your recommendation, I will try to find the time to start with the Italian Macbeth.

Is German metalcore band Caliban also inspired by Shakespeare (character in The Tempest)?

I had found an interview, where this is confirmed:

Demitri Levantis from Metal-rules.com (May 31, 2022):
"What made you name the band after the character in The Tempest, is there some significance of that Caliban for what the band stands for?"

Andreas Dorner (Caliban, Vocals) :
"Caliban is a wild creature… crude, brutal and untamable. These are at least the characteristics that convinced us of the name “Caliban” back then. Describes the music quite well."

As we discovered bands inspired by W. Shakespeare, there is a very good British prog band named Twelfth Night. First two albums especially are excellent.

Thank you for the information, JoHn Doe. It seems that none of those bands is in the MS database. However, as there are quite a few bands of this name I may add at least one or two that could have been also on MS.

I googled and looked for the progressive metal band named that, no chance
I thought it was so funny, I guess people are fascinated with that book and character.
There are even more bands named like that on discogs.

Sol Draconi Septem is an inhabited ice world in the Hyperion Cantos series of science fiction novels by Dan Simmons (first mentioned in the novel The Fall Of Hyperion, 1990).

Bihargam is a bit difficult to explain without spoiling Alejandro Jodorowsky's sci-fi comic series The Metabarons, but for the sake of simplicity, let's say it's part of an entity at the center of the universe that creates the dreams (“nightly visions”) of all living beings. I believe the term was first mentioned in the one-off story Weapons Of The Metabaron (2008).

Arkham Witch is inspired by the fictional city Arkham which is an integral part of H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. Arkham first appeared in the short story The Picture In The House (1920).
