Really hoping for something stronger after their last one. Hoping for something catchier and more memorable.

My thoughts exactly. I'm in love with their first two but their latest just seemed to take a less engaging approach and the production value took a bit of a dive, suffocating any of the catchy melodies.
Still anticipating this regardless.

A definite improvement over their last. It flows a lot better and the mix is so much more robust. Great album

It wasn't as engaging as "Kvelertak".

I don't think anything ever will be. All the albums after it have some cool songs with lots of filler. Kvelertak was great from start to finish.

First 2 great records in a trot made me thought this will go around touching moments of them. It falls flat out completely.

This is a lot groovier and more riff heavy than I ever remember them being, almost sludgey at some points. Enjoying every second of it.

Finally. This touches back on their earlier material where the focus was on groove and fun. It's been nearly a decade since I could firmly state that Kvelertak wrote some of my favorite albums, and while this one doesn't quite reach the same heights as their back catalog, it's refreshing to know they haven't lost the ability to tap into that style of writing. Their first two albums have been on steady rotation on my Spotify account ever since I signed up for one, and I bought both albums in the event I'd have to resort to physical material in order to hear them again.
The new vocalist is a tad higher pitched and less throaty compared to Hjelvik, but he's a worthwhile replacement and brings the same energy, so the feeling of change isn't completely jarring. I can't wait for the next one.

I wasn't willing to give this a chance after Nattesferd, that one sounded so tired. Now I did and I'm glad, for I think this might even be more enjoyable than Meir. I don't think anything will touch their debut in terms of consistency but this is a very nice album.
