Just as with the postponement of Accept's Too Mean To Die, I find an amusing pinprick of irony in Orden Ogan's Final Days being delayed for eight months because the days were getting a little too "final."

ORDEN OGAN announce new record and headline-tour with killer package!

The german power metal institution ORDEN OGAN drops the bombshell: on August 28th 2020 the new album ?Final Days" will be released via AFM RECORDS worldwide. Where to go from the Wild West?
Singer and Producer Sebastian ?Seeb" Levermann explains: ?Final Days is a dark-science-fiction-concept-record and it features all ORDEN OGAN trademarks such als fat and modern riffs, epic chorusses and melancholic orchestral arrangements. On this record you will find the best songs that we have ever written. Gunmen was a strong and important record for us, but Final Days takes it to the next level.

Speaking about the next level: the package of the ?Final Days Tour 2020" features heavy metal legends Grave Digger as main support, who also bring a new record on their 40 years anniversary to the table.

The second support may not be announced until February 23rd 2020 due to contractual obligations, but what we can reveal so far is that there has not been such a strong power metal package in years?

All their songs sound the same. The weak link in this band is the singer.

Cover art has never been their strong suit but goddamn... Still, Ravenhead was such a catchy record I hold out hope for something of similar quality.

Never has cover art and music quality been so divergent. Haha damn!

Sci-fi records tend to suck as a general rule-of-thumb in the metal universe (I'll grant exceptions to Mechina and Enshine, though). Hopefully Orden Ogan can pull it off, laughable cover art and all. I guess if you can do wild west power metal pretty well, sci-fi power metal shouldn't be a huge ask.

Impressive stuff. I'ld say this is better than the entire power metal stuff of the last year combined. With stuff like this, Evergrey and Labyrinth upping their game, it's already better than the last year by a mile

I know you can say this about quite a few bands, but every single song these guys release sounds the same, but they rarely get the formula right enough to have it produce something truly memorable. Not a bad band by any stretch, just very few songs that go beyond being "pretty good."

They really need to change things up. I kept being reminded of other Ogan songs while I was listening to this album. Their singer needs to push himself more and the band needs to try new things because this schtick of theirs is beginning to wear thin.

Gunnmen was better IMO, this pop orientated sound, to me somehow its good, good way to go different as djent, mat and modern prog bands, never liked this. Not fan of pop either, specially modern,. but 80's was some kicks there. Here still good metal elements whit pop keyboards and vocals, well not bad album either. Somewhere between hanging more in good side
