I've always loved technical or prodigious music; my work as a reviewer often gives me the chance to discover new bands offering stuff that I could like. Lye By Mistake is one of them fortunately, showing one of the most amazing methodological explosions I've heard this year.

This band plays a crazy kind of Alternative metal; they use hardcore elements mixed with progressive metal overtones while all of this gets wrapped with Avant-prog and old school RIO (Rock-In-Opposition), really weird don't you think? Yes weird, but it's actually an amazing combo; you'll get a monster band surpassing bands like Psyopus, Behold? The Arctopus and even Mr. Bungle, if that doesn't strikes you I really don't know what will.

Metal Rasputin
I must say, this definitely caught me off guard while just casually listening some random metal. This is not another Dream Theater clone, but a whole lotta more intense and chaotic math metal you either love or hate. The funniest thing about this kind of bizarre avant garde music is the complete unpredictability of it all.
