The city of Umea, Sweden, is a bit like the Gothenburg of Heavy Metal and if they had bands like Nocturnal Rites or Persuader in the past, they have now a new young combo, Assailant. Just to say it, Oskar Norberg one of the guitarists of the band is the little brother of Nils Norberg (Nocturnal Rites) and Emil Norberg (Persuader) so if you didn't know that Metal is a big family? you have a nice proof now right? I found this band by pure accident after finding a copy of this album simply lying around and what do you know it's actually pretty darn good. Favorite track : My Awakening.
