The second album of Max Cavalera with his new band Soulfly was released in the year 2000. The main genre is alternative or nu metal metal with some traces of thrash and it's not too much like their self-titled debut album. Primitive was the first album of a band of MaX Cavalera to reach the The Billboard top 200 (namely, 32nd place).

Been on a bit of a Soulfly binge lately. Definitely an unnecessarily hated band. Better than whatever bunk Sepultura’s putting out nowadays.

Personally I love that asian-flavored Soulfly II.

Probably my favorite album of Soulfly. This and their debut album "Soufly" are truly masterpiece works deserving my 10/10.
