I need some more playtroughs to get a better grip of it, but IMHO this album sounds really good

Well damn, lol. I literally just downloaded this. I never heard of the band - but they were tagged melodic death metal so I am in.

Don't know what you will make of it but then be sure to check everything they had released before going on hiatus.

I'm about two-thirds through. The vocals are not very well done, and it seems that many other listeners on the internet agree with me. I thought they sounded fine on the EP before this album, but now I have to agree that the singer sounds very pitchy at times.

Every track so far seems to have a mix of strong moments and weak moments. It's like they had just enough good ideas to start each song, but not enough inspiration to complete each one into an amazing track. A perfect example of this is the track I'm on right now, "Game of Gods." It starts so promising, but then just sort of meanders and does nothing memorable.

I'll give this one a few more listens - there are several moments I enjoy, I just can't get past the inconsistency.

I was really looking forward to this release. And the elements making this band better than average are definitely still there. Nevertheless not as good as expected/the previous releases. We can only hope this is just the process of finding back to their old form after the break up. Not saying that this is a bad album, it just cant compete with the old stuff imo.

This is my main gripe with the album.

Why is it always the 10m+ song that has blasts and so much in the way of orchestral supplementation
