Re-recording of their debut album Lightning To The Nations (1980).
Recorded over several sessions between various locations from France to band members home studios.
Guitars were recorded in February and March 2020 at Raw Sound Studios in London.
Mixed between April and August 2020 at Raw Sound Studios.
Mastered at Metropolis Studios.

Surprisingly competent re-recording of the classic album. I don't like Rasmus Bom Andersen's vocals that much, the dude can sing and has great voice, but he sounds bored and unenthusiastic compared to the original. I still would much rather have all new and original material over recycled classics, Coffin Train was awesome.

This sounds different enough from the original to kinda merit its existence. Definitely prefer the original or Coffin Train, but it was entertaining enough.

Hopefully this is the last time they re-record this album. The covers are worth the price of admission though. Okay I must be imagining things, but didn't they re-record this album back in like 2011?
