A Feast On Sorrow led me to revisit this debut. It's some mighty fine sludge I must say, with excellent instrumentation, especially the riffs that go from strikingly melodic to chuggish slogs. It's like Mastodon have grown bigger balls. The only downside for me is the clean vocals sometimes don't fit the powerful and heavy music, and the hardcore shouts can get slightly irritating over time. "Memorial" is a beast of a track
