This album was featured on Bandcamp for weeks so I figured I would give it a shot. At the time is was unlike anything I had heard before. I was never a huge black metal fan to begin with, but this album sort of opened the door for me to its rawer, unpolished side. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't mind their black metal with a side of cheese. Warning: it's super catchy.

Fuggin love this band. The music itself is already majorly entertaining (though I slightly prefer the No Solace in Sunlight EP) but the tongue-in-cheek theme definitely give this bonus points from me in comparison to most other dime-a-dozen bands in the "One-Man Bandcamp Black Metal" genre. Fans of this should also check the main dude Abysmal Specter's other projects, particularly Bloody Keep and the less metal, more dungeon-synth style Water Nymph.
