This is some of the most unique material Mories has released in the past years. It is very distinct from everything else he has done. It relies mostly on bass with the guitars only been there for the melodic leads. It gives of a bit of a Necromantia vibe because of it but the main difference is the lack of distorsion. It is very clean and you get a highly hypnotic vibe that some fans of Oranssi Pazuzu should appreciate. I'm honestly tempted to give it a 9 but I'll leave it at a strong 8 and see if it grows. I haven't heard a lot of stuff that sounds like this so I'm very pleased with it. Extremely recommended to everyon who wants off-kilter, avantgarde black metal that still sounds old school at heart.
