I'm a big metal opera fan, but the spoken parts are excessive.

I really wanted to like this. It features some amazingly talented guests and I'm a sucker for Symphonic/Power Metal, but this album has too many issues I can't ignore.

Yes, that's what they are. But what disturbs me even more is that the two main characters - two children - are voiced by adults. That they try to sound like children makes it even more horrible. A few songs shine with really good ideas and the general level of musicianship is fine, but as a whole it's hardly bearable for me.

Referring to the first song? I think they're adults for the rest of the album though...
