There's certainly no "loss of beauty" on this record, let me tell you that. An early contender for extreme doom AOTY? You can bet on your life, it is.

Pretty damn great. Reminds me a blend of Dawn Of Solace, The Prophecy, Novembers Doom, and a bit of Iotunn.

A Nice Guy
Excellent release, getting some strong Saturnus vibes mixed with early Katatonia. These guys have got it spot on here, great vocals (both harsh and clean), great bittersweet melancholic sound and some very impressive songwriting, and there's some stunning tracks on here my favorite being "Nature In Disguise".

Possible death doom AOTY? I'll have to see if the new Saturnus will top this.

Nice melancholic sound. Both growls and clean vocals are solid. No standout songs though.

What an album....i loved 'the last flower' but it reminds me of 'Abhorrent Rays'.....not sure.... But there are other so many catchy tracks. One of the finer alvumsc listened in recent times.

In the beginning I was made of clay. Then I bit the apple and they changed me to metal 🤘
