Ever since 2002's "Damage Done", the pioneers of the Gothenburg sound have mastered their newer sound with "Character" and now "Fiction" . In a way, their newest release can be considered as the twin album of "Character". The same formula was once again brought into daylight, resulting to a great album but with as many surprises as a Manowar album.

After first spin i thought it's pretty good album, between 8 and 9, but now after more than 10 spins... damn, what an grower. It was better and better with every next spin. Now, can't give it less than 10/10. A DT's best.

Bad English

The Mundane And The Magic and Misery's Crown are great songs, test is wtf they are doing, keyboards are disco, but still good melo dm riffing, so, album would be better if he se more clean vocals I think.

I enjoyed this one a lot, one of the more consistent post-Gallery Dark Tranquillity albums even if it is fairly basic.

9.2/10 for me - 'Terminus (Where Death is Most Alive)' and 'Misery's Crown' are the standout tracks. 'Nothing to No One', 'The Lesser Faith' and 'Icipher' are all also fantastic.

Definitely a great one this, DT could do no wrong from back then imo. There's not many tracks I find skippable here tbh, "Terminus", "Misery's Crown", "Icipher" and "The Mundane And The Magic" are all fantastic, but one of my favorite tracks here, which rarely gets a mention, is "Empty Me", the keyboard melody and main riff are great in particular.
