Very excited for this one. Mysterium Tremendum was an overlooked hit.

To long and to soft, it lost that sludge heaviness, its post metal to me.

Bit of an up-and-down listening experience to this. At times I find myself really pulled in, whether it be the brooding tom-heavy intro to I Am Nothing I Am Everything or the almost Vulture Industries-esque vibe to Dancing On The Emptiness, but then there's other moments when I'm struggling to stay engaged. Might be one that rewards replays

I like the album a lot, it's in my top-3 of the month, and January has been surprisingly stuffed with quality releases. This is my first encounter with Lord Dying, and I find the album's diversity and progressive character very appealing. "Dancing On The Emptiness" is an amazing track.

This seems to be a very hit and miss album for me tbh, there's the occasional moment where I quite like what I'm hearing, but then I find myself regularly loosing interest as well. It's a lot more progressive than I expected it to be and a lot lighter and less sludgey, and the vocal style doesn't sit well with me personally. "Dancing On The Emptiness" is definitely the highlight though.

Dancing on the emptiness. What a song. To me it felt like I was listening to two different albums. Thankfully both sat well with me.
