I have similar feelings towards this release than the one previous, the tone is crushingly powerful, the vocals are beyond menacing and it's solidly produced, but structurally I find nothing remarkable about it.

I found this underwhelming too. I was expecting more considering it was one of Blayne Smith's AOTMs.

This is such a clever little beast, tbh I didnt know that death doom could sound like this. My first experience with this band so therefore the amazement. Without the "naked" production I dont think their unique style would be as recognizable, so good judgement there. I have seen reviews saying this isnt their best, but to me it sounds like a strong aoty candidate.
