It's not a bad release per se but I had a hard time staying engaged and even had to take breaks to finish my first spin of it. That's never a good sign for me, though the second listen was a bit better.

This might be a grower Idk, I will give it more time. Best track for me is "In Gold". I also think they should've opened the album with "Recained". The rating might change.

I find the "First Crush" is a really good opening. "Recained" is also cool though, I agree. I find each song has something cool to offer. The album gets more "melodic" and therefore probably more "accessible" on "In Gold" and "Back In The Hole".

I think you should revisit this and start with the title track maybe.
