In the 90s, Nifelheim emerged as a significant force in the Swedish black metal scene, fiercely holding on to the raw, thrash-infused spirit of the earliest days of the genre. After the split of Nifelheim, frontman Hellbutcher wanted to establish his own identity, playing his own unique vision of metal. Quite a fun energetic album this, kinda like in a way, listening to Necrophobic on speed

I like this too. There's quite a few bands playing blackened speed metal now, but this is very solid. I hear loads of different bands creeping in to their songs. Necrophobic are one, but they have quite an obvious Kreator influence for me. Perdition has more than a passing resemblance to Pleasure to Kill.
