I've not heard anything by this band before but I have to admit I'm very impressed by this. It's quite unique sounding in what seems to be a vast, endless ocean of black metal releases, the songwriting is very good but the thing that stands-out most of all for me is the stunning sound and production. Last track is the highlight for me, it's wonderfully epic and melodious.

Their first self-titled EP and first LP are also great. I really like albums 2 and 3 as well, but the production across the the other 2 I mentioned are more akin to this one, which sound better overall. Big fan of the band and this one feels like a return to the same level of quality
