Curiously enough, this album is (mostly? entirely?) re-recorded early material; before I read that, I was going to say that this felt like a more matured and accomplished synthesis of their various styles than the previous album had been. It is primarily stoner with a nasty sludgy edge, but I can hear some old school doom and (mostly mid-tempo groove) thrash influences as well
