I've had this album in my dirty hands for over 2 months now, I've placed it frequently and each time I hear it I love the tracks and I worship the experience, but somehow once the final track ends I just forget about its existence?

This album suffers of what we (reviewers) use to call "lack of memorable songs"; the songs are way good as a whole and the album as a "one nights stand" experience is very juicy, but that's the major deal withThe Hidden Hand, you won't be praising to repeat the CD over and over again, a dismal allegory would be the following: do you remember Radiohead's Kid A? the band did an album that's only good if you play it from the beginning to the very end as the songs have a linked soul instead of an individual one, most people just remember one or two songs of that so called Epic album, that's exactly what happens to "Resurrection of Whiskey Foote", the album is just incredible when you play it as a whole, but not everyone has the time or the spirit to sit for 43 minutes everyday as far as I know.
