I had heard of this band before but was never motivated enough to listen to them, and this album made me understand why. I find it particularly average, nothing stood out to me, and I'm not a fan of the woman's vocals. They have a forgettable style. Maybe their previous albums were more memorable, but this one didn't really make me want to listen to them.

Been away from them for a long time, but this was a very pleasant surprise. I never get tired of Tina's melodic and sweet voice...

Another band that seems to have fallen flat of inspiration. Very nice vocals as usual, but the songwriting is nothing but average imo.

They've been repeating themselves in the last four efforts. Delirium had a good approach, Black Anima had its good moments in developing that approach, but Comalies XX was totally unnecessary as presented, as well as this one is. Same riffs, same saturating growls and quite uninspired lyrics. They were much better by that gothic aura found in discs like Unleashed Memories and Comalies, or even in the alternative metal Dark Adrenaline, which I think was their last really good album.

Actually surprised by how good this album is. It's darker and heavier than the past few; both the music and the lyrics. Cristina Scabbia's vocals are amazing. Sleep Paralysis is an incredible song for her. Highly recommend Gravity and The Siege. Overall, really great album. This might be my favorite from them!

This is one of those cases where I’m not sure what Lacuna Coil fans would want, or if they even have any still. They’ve always been a radio metal band, but this is easily their heaviest, most original, and least radio friendly album they’ve written in at least 20 years. That doesn’t mean it’s a great album, but good for a Lacuna Coil album. I like how divided the comments are on the vocals so far though. But I got to side with the dislikes, they’re pretty good most of the time but other times they’re like nails on a chalkboard.

You might like their earlier material like Unleashed Memories, Comalies and Karmacode. Mostly because it's their better stuff. I haven't listen to a lot of their newer albums. I guess I'm not missing much here.

Well the good news is that this is better than the last two outings they put out. It's still kinda uninspired, but there's definitely songs i can go back to when going back to Lacuna Coil. That's more than I can say compared to Black Anima
