Posts: 1068 Written by nonZero on 18.06.2019 at 20:07 I couldn't disagree more. This is Incantation's masterpiece. Each listen reveals more and more depth, and the vinyl repress sounds wonderful. Favourite tracks are probably the opener "Impending Diabolical Conquest" and the epic 17 minute closer "Unto Infinite Twilight / Majesty of Infernal Damnation" which starts at a doomy crawl, explodes with brutal ferocity, and then winds back down to the doomy crawl as whichever vile demon they're writing about slithers back to whence it came.

You can't have Immolation without Incantation. This album is sheer death metal on its pinnacle.
