Better late than never.... I just heard of these guys maybe a year ago and I went and bought this album (well, had to special order it)... Pretty stellar. It's brutal, progressive, and never gets boring.

I have to say this band surprised that hell out of me! I ripped a bunch of CDs from a younger dude who cooks amazing Mexican food at a local restaurant. He's only, like 29, so I've got a lot more developed tastes than he does. A lot of metalcore, etc. Beneath the Buried and Me, stuff like that. I am open minded, tried out pretty much every band, and then...

The Faceless

I'm completely blown away by the brutality and technical skill these guys bring, and yet there is that "core" element still a part of it. I can hear their roots of the "deathcore" or whatever you call that, some electronic influences, but honestly I don't care. Mostly I don't dig that sort of stuff, but when then weave in so many different types of metal elements so flawlessly I am truly impressed. That doesn't happen much to a grandpa like myself (almost 40).

Good band, you'll dig 'em if you like Beyond Creation, Necrophagist and Obscura!!!

Amazing album. Albeit the various "core" definitions, it reminds me Suffocation - brutal death metal. Excellent production, excellent album.
