I really enjoy this album... I just got it today.
Love how heavy it is, I need more stuff like this.

Then you should check out the stoner scene! It has a thread. One band that use to be compared to Electric Wizard is Ufomammut

This, Witchcult Today and Black Masses are definitely the holy Electric Wizard albums. Incredible how a band this big can only have 30 votes on such a great album.

I really like dopethrone but that album gets pretty painful and annoying for multiple listens due to strange (but cool) guitar sound. This on the other hand, I can imagine listening to for 5 continuous hours .

Huh, for some reason I thought you didn't like Black Masses so much because of the production. Maybe I confused you with someone else.

I was originally slightly bothered by the way the vocals sound. I still think they're a little caustic for the sound of the album but it doesn't bother me so much any more.

Excellent album, and for me an improvemet over Let Us Prey. Opener "Eko Eko Azarak" is actually the weakest song on here in my opinion, but not by much since that still has some solid instrumentations. My highlights here would be the title track, "Another perfect Day" and closer "Saturn's Children".
