After the exceptionally claustrophobic, esoteric and absolutely atmospheric debut album, "The Morning Never Came", the Finnish doom/deathsters Swallow The Sun return, while we are waiting for their second brand new album, with a limited edition cd-single, "Forgive Her". The single consists of only two songs, the new "Forgive Her?" which is a slow, with mid tempo passages, bittersweet mourning composition which, oddly, evokes a serene and devout atmosphere despite the overall sadness it unleashes in the heavy air, and a wonderful cover of a Candlemass hymn, "Solitude", with the guitars moving in monolithic soundscapes, paying tribute to this exceptional band.
