Not a single comment on such a phenomenal thrash release? Heresy I say! VoD is one of the best thrash albums ever conceived, with enough technical nuances to give it some serious lasting value. As close to a modern day classic as 'And Justice for All', and pretty much the only album comparison that I can make, with how distinct this sounds. Highly recommended.

I think VoD has way better songs than AJfA has, but the comparison is bad because AJfA isn't very technical, just the productions sound similar. Albums like this never get much recognition, somehow technical thrash is cursed to be unpopular.

Metal Rasputin
This is an untouchable classic of technical thrash metal, without a doubt. Breaking the Silence is incredibly fun speed metal madness with it's over the top guitar solos and such, but here they matured way above and beyond most other thrash bands that were around at the time. I don't think there's any other thrash album exactly like this, not even Heathen could reproduce a sublime classic such as Victims of Deception. They're re-releasing this thing in 2022, so people interested in getting it should keep their eyes open.

Hah! My 666th post.
