Rarely does an album place you in the exact environment which its creators would have you experience. Even rarer, in my experience, is when such is achieved within the wide reaching scope of post-metal; albums can be loose in their effort to engage the listener and they tend to be vague in their atmospheric axis points. The lines of latitude are often blurred and while an atmosphere is usually present it can be an altogether indifferent experience as you fail to identify your location. I LISTEN WHEN YOU SING I struggle whenever I have to think of what my favourite CoL song is, but this one is always the one that I find coming to mind

This is a very impressive album much like most of this bands work, however, I don't find it quite as impressive as Salvation or Somewhere Along The Highway overall. "Vicarious Redemption" and "In Awe Of" are the main highlights of this album for me, those are two exceptional tracks.
