This is not just another one of your old-school death metal releases of that time -- as opposed to their debut, which can even be considered a classic at that.
There is a blend of many styles here, overall the album sounds pretty thrashy to me.
The Rite of Sunshine is a nice anthem, comes along a bit power metalish even.
Overall worth a spin, but not a particularly good album.
