I went into this with an open mind, but after the first couple songs i was actually waiting for it to be over. I guess i was expecting they happy lunacy of his last album, as well as looking forward to this being a darker album.

Written by _Heretique_ on 17.03.2011 at 13:47 It's a radical shift from Elect The Dead to this, but it's meant to be, I read somewhere that this is what he wanted to initially do with Elect The Dead but it ended leaning towards SOAD's trademark sound, this might be awful for some but it has to potential to surprise other people in its eccentricity and experimentation, SOAD fans might be disappointed with this but this is exactly what he had to do to properly affirm his solo act as completely different and separate from SOAD musically. Sorry I just wanted to clear up for people visiting this page, give it a try.
