I was surprised at how relentless this album is when I listened to it on my ipod last week! lol "Trinity Of Heresy", "Alma Negra", and "Pandemonium" were the tracks that stood out to me most on first listen. I think it is more consistent that "The King Of Hell" which I found to be a bit patchy. :\

I thought Kai Hansen was the singer. Sounds exactly the same.

This is good but no more than that, I'm afraid. I don't have any favoured song from these, which may indicate to the songs' being pretty equal in quality, yet not having any really super strong and discernible track in the lot. I prefer the previous album.

A faster and more furious record than The King of Hell. It's not much variety here though, pretty much meat-mashing in 44 minutes, so when the songs in some cases exceeds the 5 minute mark it becomes a bit trite. But yeah.. riffing wise it's a huge step up from The King of Hell and overall I think it has better flow. Good record to listen to while doing some heavy workout!

It's not much variety here though

Not the best in the catalog, but I don't think variety might matter here as compared to other traits that galloped this record to the best quality. For me, this is 2nd strongest record after "Nosferatu" in terms of speed and riffs. I don't think I might stress enough to see a lack of variety as it has been a lot covered in initial albums.
