This is a really heavy album which caught me off guard.

Really heavy indeed and there are a whole bunch of death-metal-like riffs on the first track that remind us of what he went on to do later with Darkspace. Moloch is just bone-crushing. To people saying that the last Paysage full length is too similar to Darkspace: I can only say "lol, just listening to this one. 4 years before Darkspace's first demo"

Second track is closer to "regular Paysage" with the incredible huge and icy wall of sound. Plus really crazy and disorienting leads. Third track is slightly out of place but that being said it is still quite solid and it kind of works as an introduction for the full on ambient awesomeness that is Die Festung.
