Love how the tone changes near the end of Horse Drawn Hearse (the track I mean). I love those snippets of euphoria Mories throws in every now and then.

Well someone's been visiting GTT's EPs recently. If you haven't yet, check out Bubonic Burial Rites. It's one of my favorite GTT releases

I'd like to read your thoughts of An Epiphanic Vomiting Of Blood... It was my very first contact with GTT and still stands strong against most of his discog. The samples are incredible and the last track has such a beauty and melancholia in its last riff (I'm talking about the last song that is included in the CD version btw).
I should check out his discog in order as well. I've been missing a lot of stuff. Specially his EPs.

I think that was my first album of his actually. I'm due for another listen of it and it's coming up in the discog so will rekindle my appreciation for it =3

Bubonic Burial Rites is my most favorite Moreis album up to now. I once decided to go through all of his EPs but in a few days but that turned out to be a little hard task.
This EP is also very fine, one of my first experiences with GTT.

I'm actually finding it to be a surprisingly easy task. None of his records have overwhelmed me or tired me out, they're just too well constructed for that. There's no ultra-harsh noise or anything; it's all done with layers and being able to distinguish between those layers makes it all the more enjoyable, even in the long run.

Well that was the time that I was mentally devastated and got sick because of it. Not want to get too cheesy but listening to GTT in that conditions was not easy. Furthermore, more importantly, you are much more used to stuff like drone/noise than me.

I suppose if your mind isn't in a good place then GTT could probably add to that, certainly a lot of it in one go. Maybe try again when you're feeling a bit more neutral.

^Actually I think it's better to listen to sad/insane music when you are feeling bad. It feels like you are somehow "discounting" on something. Same goes for happy music. It'1s better to listen to when you're happy. When you're feeling bad you just want to turn it off. While if you listen to negative music when you're feeling well it kinda breaks the mood.
At least for me...

Yeah I'm planning for it. I have some 2014 records on my hands (and also that pyramids record sorry haven't listened to it yet) and after them, will try to go for GTT's disco.
