The other day I was reviewing "24/7" the "promotional" EP of the new album of Mr Udo Dirkschneider with U.D.O., not really surprising this CD was even actually a bit scary because except "24/7" and a song that's not featured on the album, all the rest was only boring or terrible. Unfortunately, the nine others new songs won't save this album?

Pretty average stuff on this album (with a couple of exceptions: "24/7", "Primecrime On Primetime" and "Shell Shock Fever" are fine tracks) like most U.D.O albums are. Some solid riffs, the vocals are good, but it doesn't help much when the majority of the songs fall into the category of averageness.

Considered to be among UDOs worst albums, i'm not gonna praise it but IMO it's as good (or average) as Thunderball. I maybe even prefer this one slightly. The main problem still stands and it's the cheap production. No power nor glory. 24/7 is a fun song though, works great live... You want it cleaner, I make it meaner... right between the eyes!
Another thing they could have done to improve it is to include Scream Killers and Hardcore Lover from the 24/7 EP instead of some of the weaker ones.
