This two-track demo is apparently the second one released by this young band from Slovenia. This is actually a rather good start for a band that has formed in 2003. Let me explain (quickly, I don't have much to say with only two songs and 12 minutes of music).

Separatus plays mid-paced heavy metal with a strong old school/hard rock vibe. The first track Klinika Alkatraz sounds blatantly inspired by new era Metallica (no, not St Anger, I am referring to Load). It is a nice heavy metal song with thrashy tunes thrown here and there. Roka Pravice (No Use) is a bit faster but still with this hard rock atmosphere. The kind of music you would expect to hear in an American smoky bar with a waitress called Bunny or something (that's one for the clichés about the American way of life). The riffs are interesting albeit some variation would be necessary, since they tend to get repetitive after a while.
